Think Positive

It’s November!

Time for you to start overcoming any negativity in your life, and start preparing for the coming of a new year. A new year brings new opportunities, a fresh start, and more positive thinking.

I’ve been searching for some different ways to help me overcome my negative thoughts. Here’s a few tips that have helped me tremendously so far:

  1. Begin your days with a positive start.

The first few hours after waking up sets tone for how the rest of your day will go. If your day has a bad start, it’s very hard to turn it back around. Try starting your day by doing something that makes you happy, or have a positive quote sitting on the side of your bed.

  2. Let it out – don’t hold in your feelings.

Bottling things up doesn’t work. When I keep my negative feelings in, I usually end up lashing out on the people I care about most. Talk to someone you’re close to and vent to them. This may give you a more clear perspective on how you’re feeling.

3. Be grateful!

There’s someone else that has it worse than you do. Remind yourself of all the things that benefit you and make you happy. Not everyone can afford three meals a day, or have a place to call home.

With Love,

Kelsey
